About the Job / Description
Infra Elevators Pvt Ltd is hiring an experienced Field Quality Inspector (QA/QC) to oversee quality inspections and compliance activities for elevator installation projects across Kerala.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in elevator systems, inspection procedures, safety compliance, and installation-to-maintenance handover processes. The role requires extensive field travel and independent inspection responsibilities across multiple project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field inspections and functional quality checks for elevators and escalators
- Identify and document snags, non-conformities, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards and safety regulations
- Verify closure of inspection points and handover requirements
- Assist in installation-to-maintenance handover procedures
- Prepare inspection reports, test records, and documentation
- Promote safety culture and stop unsafe work practices when required
- Provide feedback on recurring technical or quality issues for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field
- Preferred 10 years of experience in the elevator/escalator industry
- Strong knowledge of elevator systems and QA/QC procedures
- Ability to read drawings, commissioning records, and test reports
- Understanding of safety regulations and industry standards
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
- Good communication and customer coordination skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala
