Job Description
We are looking for a creative and skilled Coffee Artist to prepare high-quality coffee and specialty beverages while delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of coffee preparation, latte art, beverage presentation, and café operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, specialty coffees, and other café beverages as per standard recipes.
- Create attractive and consistent latte art using professional techniques.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
- Ensure proper coffee grinding, extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, temperature, and presentation.
- Recommend coffee and beverage options to customers based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee counter and work area.
- Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other beverage ingredients and inform the supervisor about stock requirements.
- Follow proper storage, handling, and wastage-control procedures.
- Handle customer orders and provide friendly and professional service.
- Assist with the development of new coffee beverages and presentation styles.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
- Support the café team during busy service hours.
Requirements
- 12th pass / Graduate preferred.
- Certification or training in Barista / Coffee Making is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Barista, Coffee Artist, or in a specialty coffee shop preferred.
- Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and latte art.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Creative approach with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
