Job Description: Officer – Plant Operations (QA / QC / Production)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated B. Pharm graduate with 1 to 2 years of experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will support our manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Information
- Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) – Required
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in Chemical / Intermediate / API / Pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Job Location: Sarigam / Vapi (Gujarat)
- Salary: Continuous with industry standards; Dependent upon interview performance and experience

Key Responsibilities

If for Production / Operations:
- Supervise daily batch operations, charging of raw materials, and monitoring of reaction parameters (temperature, pressure, pH).
- Maintain and fill Batch Production Records (BPR) and Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) accurately in real-time.
- Ensure strict adherence to plant safety protocols, handling chemicals safely, and maintaining shop-floor hygiene.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment upkeep and calibration.
If for Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC):
- Perform IPQC (In-Process Quality Control) checks during various manufacturing stages.
- Assist in handling deviations, change controls, and market complaints under senior guidance.
- Review executed BMRs/BPRs prior to batch release.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and ensure strict compliance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of chemical handling, unit operations, and basic pharmaceutical chemistry.
- Documentation: Strong documentation habits with high accuracy and neatness.
- Compliance: Basic understanding of GMP, safety norms (EHS), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills (English, Hindi, and knowledge of Gujarati is an added advantage).
- Attributes: Problem-solving mindset, ability to work under pressure, and a strong team player.
