Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated ITI Electrician to support the Life Science Department in the assembly, wiring, testing, installation, and maintenance of laboratory and scientific equipment. The ideal candidate should possess sound electrical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical wiring and assembly of laboratory and life science instruments.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit layouts.
- Install and connect electrical components such as switches, relays, power supplies, sensors, MCBs, and control panels.
- Conduct functional testing and electrical inspection of equipment before dispatch.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in laboratory equipment and machines.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and servicing of equipment at customer sites when required.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Maintain daily work records, testing reports, and service documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, electrical safety practices, and 5S procedures.
- Coordinate with the Production, Mechanical, Quality, and Service teams for smooth project execution.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in new product development activities.
Qualification
- ITI in Electrician (NCVT/SCVT).
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with multimeters, crimping tools, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Basic understanding of electrical panels, sensors, SMPS, relays, and motors.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Willingness to travel for installation and service assignments, if required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in laboratory equipment, life science instruments, medical devices, automation systems, or pharmaceutical equipment will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹8,338.82 - ₹29,964.30 per month
