Natural Stone Block Inspector – Mines & Quarries
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Natural Stone Block Inspector to inspect marble, granite, quartzite, and other natural stone blocks at different mines and quarries.
The candidate will be responsible for checking block quality, taking proper photos and videos, preparing inspection reports, and sharing accurate information with the company before purchase or selection.
This role is suitable for someone who has experience in the natural stone industry, mining/quarry work, geology, civil engineering, or quality inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit mines and quarries to inspect natural stone blocks.
- Check block size, color, cracks, lines, quality, shape, and overall condition.
- Take clear photos and videos from all required angles.
- Measure block dimensions accurately.
- Prepare simple and clear inspection reports.
- Share honest feedback about whether the block is suitable for purchase/export.
- Coordinate with mine owners, supervisors, and company team.
- Maintain proper records of inspected blocks.
- Travel to different quarry locations as per requirement.
Required Skills
- Good observation and inspection skills.
- Basic knowledge of natural stone blocks, marble, granite, quartzite, or minerals.
- Ability to identify cracks, defects, color variation, and block quality.
- Good mobile photography and video recording skills.
- Basic reporting skills using WhatsApp, Excel, Google Sheets, or email.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible attitude.
- Willingness to travel regularly.
Preferred Qualification
- Diploma / Degree in Geology, Mining, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Candidates with practical experience in mines, quarries, stone factories, or block trading will be given preference.
- Freshers with strong learning ability and field interest may also apply.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in natural stone, mining, quarry, inspection, or related field preferred.
- Experienced candidates from marble/granite/quartzite industry will be highly preferred.
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and skill.
Travel allowance and field expenses can be discussed during the interview.
Work Location
Field-based role across Rajasthan mines and quarries.
