Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Manual Tester to join our team in Mohali. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on maintaining high-quality software standards through rigorous testing and collaboration across multiple platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for both web and mobile platforms.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing for complex websites and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
- Identify, record, and track bugs thoroughly using Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify system requirements and ensure timely bug fixes.
- Participate in requirement analysis to provide early feedback on potential issues or edge cases.
- Ensure that every release meets the defined quality standards and user experience requirements.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent performance and UI/UX integrity.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in manual software testing.
- Proven experience in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) and responsive web applications.
- Strong understanding of the SDLC and STLC frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with API testing (e.g., Postman) and mobile-specific debugging tools.
- Proficiency in analyzing business requirements and converting them into actionable test scenarios.
- Ability to manage the bug life cycle from discovery to verification.
- Strong analytical thinking with a sharp eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
