Associate Director/ Director, IORS
A systematic investment group that specializes in global equity markets is looking for an experienced quantitative researcher to join their team. The individual will be responsible for researching and developing predictive signals for financial securities. This will include evaluating, cleaning, and managing large datasets for efficient access. Candidates must have extensive experience developing models to predict future outcomes.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in quantitative modeling using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Professional experience and fluency with statistical and ML computing in Python
- Degree in a quantitative field from a top-tier university
- Ability to write Python code at a production-quality level
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and with a team
- Strong communications skills both oral and written
- Strong interest in global financial markets
- Experience in quantitative financial research, particularly in equity alpha models
- Experience with the portfolio construction process
