Job Description
This Role
This role is about delivering accurate fund accounting and client reporting while leading teams, managing workflows, ensuring compliance, and building strong client relationships in private equity services.
What You Will Do

You'll oversee fund accounting deliverables including NAV reviews, financial statements with disclosures, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SSAE and other statutory requirements.

You'll manage workflow and team performance by assigning tasks, reviewing outputs from Accountants and Junior Accountants, approving timesheets and overtime, and acting as an alternate for Assistant Managers when needed.

You'll facilitate system processes such as onboarding new funds, migrating data into platforms like Investran and Paxus, and generating reports using accounting and reporting systems.

You'll champion risk and compliance management by drafting error reports, identifying operational risks, proposing corrective actions, and escalating breaches or issues promptly.

You'll demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills by building collaborative client relationships, mentoring junior staff, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and embodying resilience, customer focus, and organizational savvy.

Qualifications
About You
-
You hold a graduate degree in accounting or a business-related course with at least 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.

You possess sound technical knowledge of IndAS, IFRS, and GAAPs across multiple jurisdictions (US, UK, Luxembourg), with proven experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements under applicable laws and regulations.

You bring operational expertise in fund accounting services—preferably private equity—alongside experience managing service operations, client deliverables, staff performance, and conducting appraisals.

You demonstrate strong technical and digital skills including intermediate Excel functions (pivot tables, lookups, IF statements), proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, video conferencing applications, and familiarity with accounting software such as Investran.

You communicate effectively in English and at least one additional foreign language with advanced verbal and written skills, and ideally hold CPA/ACCA qualifications or have experience in multinational/shared services environments with openness to travel.
