Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented HR Trainee (MBA - HR) to join our Plant HR team at the Jalandhar manufacturing facility. This role offers hands-on experience across core HR functions, including time office management, payroll processing, Learning & Development (L&D), HR MIS reporting, and HR process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Time Office & Attendance Management
- Manage daily biometric/punching attendance records for plant workers, technicians, shop-floor labor, and staff.
- Track shift schedules, overtime (OT), late arrivals, early departures, and leave applications.
- Reconcile monthly attendance and leave data to prepare error-free inputs for payroll.
2. Payroll Support & Statutory Assistance
- Assist the HR department in compiling monthly payroll inputs (salaries, deductions, OT, bonuses).
- Coordinate with accounts for timely disbursement of wages.
- Support statutory compliance tracking (PF, ESIC, Factory Act guidelines, and wage registers).
3. Learning & Development (L&D)
- Assist in conducting training needs analysis (TNA) for shop-floor workers and office staff.
- Coordinate safety, technical skill-building, and operational training sessions.
- Maintain training records, track employee participation, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
4. HR MIS & Documentation
- Maintain and update HR MIS dashboards (attrition rates, headcount, attendance trends, recruitment status).
- Manage physical and digital employee personnel files, ensuring high confidentiality and compliance.
- Generate weekly/monthly HR reports for management review.
5. HR Process Improvement & Generalist Duties
- Identify bottlenecks in daily HR processes and propose digitized or streamlined solutions.
- Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new floor workers and office employees.
- Support employee engagement activities, plant safety drives, and grievance resolution mechanisms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA in Human Resource Management (Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience/internship).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Formulas) for MIS reporting and payroll compilation.
- Basic understanding of HRMS software, biometric attendance systems, and payroll processing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
