We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Home Tutor to provide personalized Mathematics and Science instruction to school students. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods according to individual student learning needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Instruction
- Teach Mathematics and Science subjects to students from Grades 1–10 (or as applicable).
- Explain concepts clearly using interactive and practical teaching methods.
- Develop customized lesson plans based on the student's academic level and learning pace.
- Assist students with homework, assignments, projects, and exam preparation.
Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Conduct regular assessments and practice tests.
- Track student progress and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Provide constructive feedback and learning strategies to students and parents.
- Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, and competitive assessments where applicable.
Learning Support
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Use visual aids, worksheets, and educational resources to enhance understanding.
- Build student confidence and motivate them to achieve academic goals.
Parent Communication
- Regularly update parents regarding student performance and attendance.
- Discuss academic challenges and recommend improvement plans.
- Maintain records of lessons conducted and student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of school-level Mathematics and Science curriculum.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience.
- B.Ed. or teaching certification is an added advantage.
- Experience preparing students for CBSE, ICSE, State Board, or International curricula.
