We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with proven expertise in the execution of science museums, science centres, simulation galleries, experience centres, and interactive exhibit projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring successful integration of design and execution of 200 science exhibits including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and execution of science museum exhibits, simulation galleries, experience centres, and interactive installations.
- Coordinate with architects, exhibit designers, consultants, fabricators, multimedia agencies, and contractors for seamless project delivery.
- Oversee fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of exhibits and simulation systems.
- Ensure integration of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and digital/interactive components.
- Monitor project schedules, quality, safety, budgets, and compliance with project specifications.
- Review drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure exhibits are safe, durable, and suitable for public use.
- Manage vendor performance, site activities, and stakeholder coordination to achieve project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Civil) from a recognized university.
- Additional qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, Museum Technology, Exhibition Design, or related fields will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management tools is desirable.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in Project Management in science museums, science centres, science cities, planetariums, experience centres, themed attractions, or interactive exhibition projects.
- Proven experience in execution of interactive exhibits, simulation galleries, immersive environments, or experiential learning facilities.
- Experience in projects executed at or comparable to:
- National Science Centre, New Delhi
- Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai
- Science City, Kolkata
- Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad, Gujrat
- Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala, Punjab
- Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bengaluru
- B. M. Birla Science Centre, Hyderabad
- Goa Science Centre & Planetarium, Panji, Goa
- Raman Science Centre, Nagpur, Maharashtra
- Birla Industrial & Technological Museum, Kolkata
- or equivalent science museums, innovation centres, interpretation centres, and experiential galleries. Bottom of Form
· Need to submit at least design and working model of three science exhibits which you have executed during your past experience which will help us to understand your knowledge base with respect to science exhibits.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
