Assistant Navigator
- Daily Task & RPA will be responsible for monitoring, sorting, updating, and coordinating daily work progress, RPA (Request/Resource/Process Approval) activities, labour strength, and employee-related task allocation. The role requires regular coordination with consultants, material suppliers, contractors, HODs, and project teams to identify delays and ensure timely follow-up and completion of assigned tasks.
- Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Duty 1 – Daily Work Progress Updation & Sheet Sorting
Collect and update daily work progress information from the concerned teams/sites. Maintain and organize the Daily Work Progress Updation Sheet. Sort and categorize pending, completed, and delayed activities. Follow up with concerned team members for pending updates. Ensure daily progress information is accurate and updated on time.
- Duty 2 – Stuck RPA Sorting & Follow-up – 3rd Party Hindrances
Identify and sort stuck/pending RPA activities. Monitor activities delayed due to third-party dependencies and coordinate for timely resolution. Track and follow up on the following major hindrances: Consultant Drawings – Pending drawings, revisions, approvals, etc. Material Supply – Delay in material availability or delivery. Material-Including Contractors – Issues related to contractors responsible for supplying materials along with execution. Prepare and maintain a list of stuck RPAs with the reason for delay and responsible party. Escalate critical delays to the concerned HOD/management.
- Duty 3 – Labour Strength Sorting
- Collect daily labour strength details from project sites. Sort and categorize labour strength based on project, trade, contractor, and work activity. Monitor manpower availability against project requirements. Highlight manpower shortages or sudden variations to the concerned team. Maintain proper daily labour strength records.
- Duty 4 – Leave & Resigned Staff – Work and RPA Sorting
- Monitor pending tasks and RPAs assigned to employees who are on leave or have resigned. Identify work that requires reassignment during the employee's absence or after resignation. Coordinate with the concerned HOD/team members for proper handover and redistribution of pending tasks. Track the status of pending work until completion. Ensure critical RPAs and responsibilities are not delayed due to employee absence or resignation.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets. Good data sorting and documentation skills. Ability to follow up with multiple departments and project teams. Good analytical and problem-solving ability. Ability to identify pending and delayed activities. Strong attention to detail. Willingness to work in a fast-paced construction/project environment. Ability to maintain daily reports and records. Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

The selected candidate is expected to:
- Ensure daily work progress data is updated accurately and on time. Maintain proper tracking of stuck/pending RPAs. Identify third-party hindrances and ensure timely follow-up. Maintain accurate labour strength records. Ensure proper tracking and redistribution of work handled by employees on leave or who have resigned. Escalate critical delays and pending activities to the concerned HOD/management without unnecessary delay.
- Preferred Candidate Profile
A proactive and organized graduate who is comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets, daily reports, task tracking, coordination, and follow-up activities. The candidate should have the ability to communicate effectively with different teams and maintain accurate records of ongoing and pending work.
