Job Title: IT Head

Job Purpose:
The IT Head will be responsible for managing the organization's complete IT infrastructure, systems, cybersecurity, data security, and technology operations while ensuring business continuity and compliance with applicable data protection and technology-related regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization's complete IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, servers, networks, systems, and communication platforms.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Ensure effective cybersecurity, data security, access control, backup, and disaster recovery systems.
- Monitor and manage IT vendors, AMC contracts, software licenses, and technology procurement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, and IT regulations.
- Manage user access, email systems, cloud applications, ERP/HRMS, and other business applications.
- Establish appropriate data backup and recovery mechanisms.
- Identify and mitigate IT security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Provide timely resolution of IT-related issues and ensure minimum business disruption.
- Prepare and maintain IT budgets, asset registers, and technology roadmaps.
- Conduct regular IT audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Lead IT projects, system upgrades, digital transformation, and automation initiatives.
- Train employees on IT security, data protection, and responsible use of technology.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of relevant IT experience, including experience in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud systems, and data management.
- Knowledge of applicable data protection and cybersecurity regulations.
- Strong vendor-management and project-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage the organization's IT function.
