Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive (US Market) who will be responsible for prospecting, outbound calling, lead generation, client engagement, and appointment setting with US-based prospects.
The ideal candidate must have prior experience in US calling/international sales, exceptional spoken English, strong communication skills, and confidence in interacting with decision-makers over calls.
This role requires someone who is proactive, target-driven, and capable of creating business opportunities through consistent outreach and relationship building.
Key ResponsibilitiesUS Market Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential prospects, decision-makers, and organizations across the US market
- Build and maintain high-quality prospect databases using LinkedIn, company websites, CRM systems, and research tools
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and target segments
Outbound Calling & Business Development
- Make high-volume outbound calls to US-based prospects
- Engage with decision-makers to understand requirements and identify potential business opportunities
- Present and explain SmartRoots’ solutions and value proposition effectively
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for senior sales/business teams
- Manage email outreach, LinkedIn communication, and consistent follow-ups
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with prospective clients
- Handle objections professionally and maintain positive engagement
- Maintain a structured follow-up process to improve conversions
CRM & Sales Reporting
- Update lead status, meeting outcomes, and follow-up details in CRM tools
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and call reports
- Track pipeline progress and contribute to sales targets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in US Calling / International Sales / B2B Lead Generation
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (Mandatory)
- Strong confidence in interacting with US-based clients and decision-makers
- Experience in cold calling, appointment setting, lead generation, and sales outreach
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and email outreach platforms
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Preferred Candidate Profile
We are specifically looking for candidates who have:
- Experience in US process / US calling / international B2B sales
- Strong command over spoken English with a professional communication style
- Experience in appointment setting, outbound sales, or lead generation
- Confidence in handling cold calls and speaking with decision-makers
- Prior exposure to IT services, SaaS, technology sales, or digital solutions (preferred)
