Job Description – Receptionist
The Genius Squad is looking for a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to be the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage front desk operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist students, parents, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Manage visitor records and coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and office correspondence.
- Provide basic information about The Genius Squad's programs and services.
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, document management, and office coordination.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, or in a customer service role (freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
