Job Title : Senior Developer
Location : India – Bengaluru
Employment Type : Contract – 6 Months (with potential for extension and convert to Permanent)
Travel Requirement : Travel within India and overseas (Singapore / ASEAN) as required
Reports To : Delivery Center Head
Works With : SCSK AP Singapore Lead, India Developer, Partner Developers, Client Team
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver assigned features and modules for client digital projects under the guidance of the Singapore-based Solution Architect
- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Write clean, well-documented, production-quality code aligned with agreed technical standards
- Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing with the junior developer on the team
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Report daily progress via JIRA and maintain up-to-date task status at all times
- Support UAT, bug fixing, and release activities as part of the delivery lifecycle
- Travel to project locations in India or overseas as required for workshops, onboarding, or delivery sprints
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in backend development (Python, Java, Node.js, or equivalent)
- Frontend development experience (React, Vue, Angular, or equivalent HTML/CSS/JS frameworks)
- Experience with cloud platforms – Azure preferred; AWS or GCP exposure acceptable
- Hands-on experience with REST API design, development, and integration
- Database experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
- Experience with version control (Git/GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools
QA & Testing
- QA/QC background strongly preferred – experience writing test plans, test cases, and performing code reviews
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and UAT facilitation
Agile & Process
- Solid Agile Scrum development background – experience in sprint-based delivery teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment with short sprint cycles
- Strong communication skills in English; ability to work across time zones with Singapore and ASEAN-based stakeholders
Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of software development experience
- Experience in enterprise application development or system integration projects
- Experience working in distributed or cross-border delivery teams is a strong plus
- Background in supply chain, chemical, automotive, or financial systems is advantageous
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Azure cloud services (Azure Functions, Static Web Apps, Azure AI services)
- SAP integration or SAP GUI scripting experience
- Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) or RPA experience
- IT security awareness and secure coding practices
- Exposure to Japanese corporate culture or Japanese enterprise clients

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
