Production Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant production operations, ensuring achievement of production targets with optimal utilization of resources while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role involves driving process efficiency, minimizing downtime, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, and supply chain to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Production Planning & Execution:
- Plan and execute production schedules to meet targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Monitor daily production performance.
2. Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for improving productivity and efficiency.
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiative.
- Reduce wastage and improve yield.
3. Quality Control:
- Ensure production meets quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with QA team to resolve quality issues.
- Implement corrective actions for defects.
4. Team Management:
- Lead and supervise production teams.
- Ensure proper manpower deployment and skill development.
- Maintain discipline and high performance culture.
5. Maintenance Coordination:
6. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure safe working environment in production area.
Follow all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge about ISO (9K, 14K, 45K and 50K) and implementation in EHS process.
7. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor production KPIs (output, efficiency, downtime).
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Use data for continuous improvement.

o Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
o Post Graduation Diploma/Degree in (Mechanical/Electrical).
o Strong knowledge of production processes and plant operations.
o Experience in team management and leadership.
o Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
8–12 years of experience in manufacturing/production
