Junior Architect
Job Summary
Prospective Designs is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Architect to supervise site execution, ensure design compliance, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and assist in delivering projects as per approved drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities and monitor project progress.
- Ensure execution is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Take site measurements and prepare site reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labor teams.
- Resolve basic site execution issues in consultation with the Senior Architect/Project Manager.
- Verify material quality and ensure proper usage at the site.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site photographs, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing snag lists and monitor rectification work.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Coordinate with clients during site visits and provide project updates.
- Report delays, variations, and execution challenges to the reporting manager.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Architecture.
- 0–2 years of experience in site execution or interior/architectural projects.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior detailing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and working drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (SketchUp knowledge is an added advantage).
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
