Qualification:-
- B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
Experience:-
- B.E.: Minimum 8 years
- Diploma: Minimum 10 years
- Experience in large Material Handling Systems (Port/Cement/Steel/Power Plant)
- Minimum 5 years of Port experience is mandatory
Key Responsibilities:-
- Oversee operation and maintenance of Ship Unloader, Ship Loader, Stacker cum Reclaimer, Conveyors, and related mechanical equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
- Lead and manage a team of 50+ skilled maintenance personnel.
- Monitor equipment health through condition monitoring techniques and implement reliability improvements.
- Ensure maximum equipment availability with minimum downtime.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and industrial safety standards.
- Coordinate shutdowns, maintenance planning, spare parts management, and cross-functional activities.
Required Skills:-
- Strong knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS).
- Expertise in condition monitoring and root cause analysis.
- Good leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with CMMS/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
