Job Summary: The Tender Process Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the tendering process within the organization. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and maximizing the success rate of our bids. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tender management, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire tendering process from identification of opportunities to submission and follow-up.
- Develop and implement tendering strategies to maximize the success rate of bids.
- Coordinate with various departments (e.g., finance, legal, operations) to gather necessary information and ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Review and analyze tender documents to identify key requirements and potential risks.
- Prepare and submit high-quality tender documents that meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements related to tendering.
- Maintain and update a database of all tender documents, submissions, and outcomes.
- Conduct post-tender evaluations and provide feedback to improve future tendering processes.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to address any queries or issues related to tenders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new tender opportunities.
- Provide training and support to team members on tendering best practices and processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in tender management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes and procedures.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
