Core Responsibilities of an individual:
1. Day-to-Day Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain and update the general ledger, cash books, and petty cash logs.
- Process accounts payable (verifying vendor invoices, processing employee expense claims, and issuing payments).
- Process accounts receivable (generating client invoices, tracking collections, and following up on pending dues).
- Record all daily financial transactions using accounting software Tally ERP/Cloud.
- E-way bill and E-invoice generation.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
2. Reconciliations & Reporting
- Perform periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Reconcile vendor statements and client ledgers to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and cash flow forecasts for management review.
3. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely processing and payment of direct and indirect taxes (e.g., GST, Income Tax, TDS, and Professional Tax).
- Prepare and file periodic tax returns and generate necessary tax certificates (e.g., Form 16/16A).
- Manage employee payroll compliance, including Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) deductions and contributions.
4. Audits & Internal Controls
- Support internal and statutory audits by preparing required schedules, vouchers, and documentation.
- Implement internal financial controls to minimize financial risks and fraud.
- Ensure all financial operations adhere to company policies and government regulations.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
