Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at sugar.fit, a leading diabetes reversal management company. The primary responsibility of this role is to forge strategic partnerships with doctors, diagnostic labs, pharmaceutical companies, and other service providers in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be adept at establishing and nurturing relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving business growth through collaborative efforts.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and target potential partners in the healthcare industry including doctors, diagnostic labs, pharmaceutical companies, and other relevant service providers.
2. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to establish partnerships and onboard them onto the sugar.fit platform.
3. Initiate and maintain regular communication with prospective partners to understand their needs, explore opportunities for collaboration, and address any concerns.
4. Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts with prospective partners, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure seamless integration and implementation of partnership initiatives.
6. Act as a brand ambassador for sugar.fit, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
7. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new partnership opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
8. Track, measure, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partnership initiatives, regularly providing updates to senior management.
9. Continuously strive to optimize and improve partnership processes and strategies to maximize business growth and ROI.
10. Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions and dealings with partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
2. Proven track record of success in business development, partnership management, or sales within the healthcare industry, preferably in the digital health or wellness sector.
3. Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including knowledge of medical practices, diagnostic procedures, pharmaceutical products, and regulatory requirements.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying opportunities and driving initiatives to fruition.
6. Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and objectives.
7. Highly organized with excellent time management and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
9. Willingness to travel as needed.
