We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef for a private residence in Kochi, catering to a family of four members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of meal preparation within the household while ensuring high standards of hygiene, nutrition, and presentation.
The candidate should be well-versed in multiple cuisines and capable of preparing a wide variety of dishes according to the family’s preferences and dietary requirements. This role requires flexibility, reliability, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for cooking.
- Plan daily and weekly menus based on family preferences and dietary requirements
- Prepare nutritious, balanced, and high-quality meals
- Handle grocery shopping and source fresh ingredients
- Manage kitchen inventory and maintain stock levels
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the kitchen area
- Ensure proper food storage and adherence to food safety standards
- Accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions when required
- Occasionally prepare meals for guests and small gatherings
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of meals
- Coordinate meal timings efficiently and manage kitchen operations independently
- Proven experience as a Private Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Indian and International cuisines
- Ability to prepare a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes
- Understanding of nutrition and healthy meal planning
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene practices
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
- Culinary certification or relevant training preferred
- Prior experience working in private residences will be an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
