Job Summary:
Team Manager will manage a team of 15 educators and animal keepers, ensuring smooth daily operations through effective task allocation, attendance tracking, and performance management. The role involves overseeing SOP and policy compliance, coordinating daily tour schedules, and handling weekend crowd management to maintain high service and safety standards. Additionally, the Team Leader will manage MIS reporting, support team training and development, ensure quality visitor experiences, resolve operational issues, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of approximately 15 educators and animal keepers, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
· Daily Task Allocation & Monitoring: Plan, assign, and track daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
· Attendance & Performance Management: Monitor team attendance, punctuality, and productivity, and conduct regular performance evaluations with actionable feedback.
· SOP Implementation & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regularly update processes to improve efficiency and safety.
· Policy Management: Implement and enforce organizational policies and guidelines, ensuring team awareness and compliance at all times.
· Tour Operations Management: Oversee and coordinate the daily tour schedule, ensuring seamless visitor experiences and proper staff allocation.
· Weekend Crowd Management: Plan and execute effective crowd management strategies during weekends and peak periods to maintain safety and service quality.
· MIS Reports & Data Management: Prepare and maintain MIS reports, including attendance, performance, and operational metrics for management review.
· Issue Resolution & Escalation: Act as the first point of contact for team issues, operational challenges, and escalations, resolving them efficiently.
· Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments (operations, marketing, veterinary, etc.) to ensure smooth coordination and execution of activities.
Eligibility:
· Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience in operations, education, hospitality, or a related field.
· At least 3 years of hands-on team management experience, preferably managing large teams.
· Strong skills in operations management, task planning, and execution.
· Ability to handle high-pressure situations, including crowd and on-ground operations management.
· Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
· Basic proficiency in reporting tools such as Microsoft

Physical Demands:
· Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. While being on the field, the Team Manager is regularly required to walk, stand, see, speak, and hear; frequently required to sit, reach, use hands to manipulate objects or tools, and work in all weather conditions; and occasionally required are the abilities to lift, carry, bend and stoop. Willing to work overnight shifts as required for animal care or emergencies.
Other requirements:
· Outdoor clothing such as caps, sunglasses, and appropriate footwear is mandatory.
· Completion of anti-rabies vaccinations prior to joining is compulsory.

· Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and overnight shifts as required for animal care or events.
Location:
Bangalore Working Days: Monday to Sunday (with one weekday off)
Working Hours: 8:45 AM- 6 PM (55 hours per week)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
