Job Summary
Metropolitan Industries is pioneering company engaged in the manufacturing of valves and allied flow control equipment for over six decades now. We have an opening for Production Manager, where the person would be responsible for full coordination and implementation of production and production schedules. Our office is in Kolkata and factory is in Howrah, so the position would involve working at both locations, as the requirement may be.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Managing the entire production process in a holistic manner
- Supervising preparation of production schedules, and ensuring their precise implementation
- Conducting inspection and testing with external agencies
- Conducting internal inspections and preparing reports
- Coordination with vendors and sub-contractors
- Carrying out supplier audits
- Ensuring Quality Assurance plans are adhered to
- Supervising control of maintenance activities
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering graduate (Diploma / Bachelors)
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in related field (Mechanical Engineering, Flow control/ Pressure equipment industry preferred)
- Microsoft Office
- English language – fluency in writing and speaking
- Bengali language – fluency in writing and speaking
- Engineering Drawing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
