Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, develop students' language and communication skills, and foster a love for literature and creative writing. The teacher will be responsible for lesson planning, classroom management, student assessment, and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver English Language and Literature lessons as per the curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and spoken English.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct literary activities such as debates, elocutions, essay writing, and creative writing competitions.
- Communicate student progress with parents during PTMs.
- Use digital teaching tools, smart boards, and activity-based learning methods.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum planning and interdisciplinary projects.
Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's Degree
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management abilities.
- Student-centric teaching approach.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of educational technology and online teaching tools.
