About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Manager – Wealth Management to build and manage relationships with High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients. This role requires a strong blend of client management, financial advisory, and sales capabilities, with a focus on driving revenue through tailored wealth management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of investment products, a strong existing network, and the ability to deliver personalized financial strategies while maintaining long-term client trust.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Portfolio Growth
Identify, acquire, and onboard new HNI and NRI clients through referrals, networking, and market outreach
Develop and execute strategies to expand the existing client base and increase Assets Under Management (AUM)
Leverage existing relationships and professional networks to generate new business opportunities
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients through regular engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their financial needs and queries
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
Wealth Advisory & Financial Planning
Understand client financial goals, risk appetite, and investment horizon
Provide customized investment advisory solutions aligned with client objectives
Structure and recommend portfolios across asset classes including:
Mutual Funds
Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
Insurance and risk products
Alternate investments (if applicable)
Sales & Revenue Generation
Drive revenue through cross-selling and upselling of wealth management products
Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets on a monthly/quarterly basis
Monitor and improve wallet share from existing clients
Market Intelligence & Advisory
Track market trends, economic developments, and financial products
Provide timely market insights and actionable investment recommendations to clients
Educate clients about new products, regulatory updates, and investment opportunities
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all transactions and advisory services comply with regulatory guidelines
Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and reporting standards
Adhere to internal policies and risk management frameworks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Professional Experience
5–6 years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Financial Advisory
Proven experience in managing HNI/NRI client relationships
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales and AUM growth targets
Investment Product Knowledge
Strong technical understanding of:
Mutual Funds (Equity, Debt, Hybrid)
Portfolio Management Services (PMS)
Insurance/Risk Management products
Basic knowledge of equity markets and alternative investments
Client Handling & Sales Skills
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with affluent clients
Excellent sales acumen with a consultative approach
Communication & Presentation
Team Management Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to present complex financial concepts in a simple, client-friendly manner
Professional and confident client-facing demeanor
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications
NISM certifications – VA and any other .
Postgraduate degree in Finance / MBA (Finance) – Preferred
Knowledge of global markets (for NRI clients)
Pay: ₹226,909.14 - ₹1,063,132.46 per year
