Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable ServiceNow Developer to support our Technology Enablement and Continual Improvement Management (CIM) initiatives. This is a hands-on development role focused on delivering enhancements, automating enterprise workflows, and accelerating the implementation of ServiceNow-based process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned ServiceNow professional who can quickly integrate into an existing team, work independently, and drive the development of scalable solutions aligned to complex enterprise processes. The role supports continuous improvement efforts, workflow modernization, and automation initiatives within the ServiceNow platform. Concepts such as ServiceNow workflow enhancements and continual improvement are consistent with enterprise ServiceNow development and CSI/CIM practices found in internal ServiceNow service descriptions.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions across the platform. Build and enhance ServiceNow Playbooks, workflows, and end-to-end process automations. Develop and maintain Flow Designer solutions, including complex orchestrations and integrations. Create and enhance Service Catalog items, Request workflows, approvals, and fulfillment processes. Design scalable automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve user experience. Implement backlog enhancements, defect fixes, and operational improvements. Continual Improvement & Process Enablement Support Technology Enablement initiatives through platform enhancements and automation. Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and increase service quality. Recommend and implement ServiceNow best practices and platform improvements. Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews. Operational Excellence Ensure development follows governance, security, and platform standards. Perform unit testing, peer reviews, and support deployment activities. Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials. Collaborate effectively with platform administrators, process owners, and business stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
Technical Skills 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. Strong expertise in: Flow Designer Workflow/Playbook Development Service Catalog Request Fulfillment Business Rules Client Scripts UI Policies Script Includes REST/SOAP Integrations ServiceNow Platform Development Strong JavaScript development skills. Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. Understanding of ITSM processes and service management practices. Professional Skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Experience working within complex enterprise environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple enhancement requests and competing demands.
Other Requirements
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD). Additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, or related ServiceNow disciplines are desirable. Experience with enterprise process automation and continual improvement programs. Experience working with global delivery teams and Agile methodologies. ServiceNow certification and advanced platform development expertise are commonly referenced for senior-level ServiceNow roles.
