Job Summary
CD International School is looking for a responsible and organized Transport Incharge to manage the daily operations of the school transport department. The candidate will ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation for students while coordinating with drivers, attendants, parents, and school management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily school bus operations and route planning.
- Supervise drivers and bus attendants.
- Ensure student safety during pick-up and drop-off.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, insurance, fitness certificates, and permits.
- Maintain transport records, attendance, and route schedules.
- Handle transport-related parent queries and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate with school administration for smooth transport operations.
- Ensure compliance with school transport safety guidelines and local regulations.
- Respond promptly to transport emergencies and operational issues.
Requirements
- Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in transport, logistics, or school transport management.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, email).
- Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of vehicle documentation and transport compliance is an advantage.
