About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Sales Head to drive our General Trade business across India for our menswear brand ZU. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in distributor management, retailer development, and market expansion within the apparel industry. This is a field-intensive role requiring frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand ZU's General Trade network across India.
- Appoint, manage, and support distributors and retailers.
- Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for product launches and promotions.
- Provide regular market and competitor feedback to management.
Desired Candidate
- 4–5 years of experience in General Trade sales (preferably apparel, fashion, or FMCG).
- Proven track record in distributor appointment and territory expansion.
- Comfortable travelling 20–25 days per month.
- Fluent in Hindi, English, and Tamil.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
