Position Summary
Level: Architect or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do
As a Lead Software Engineer II on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Design, implement, and secure cloud-native architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS) that support scalable, resilient, and audit-ready business solutions.
- Lead the development of advanced solutions involving generative artificial intelligence (AI), including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent-based orchestration, and secure integration of large language model (LLM) services.
- Define and implement networking and security architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including segmentation, encryption, identity controls, and secure connectivity patterns.
- Collaborate with solution architects, security architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to align architecture decisions with functional, operational, and compliance requirements.
- Establish architecture standards for high availability, observability, deployment automation, and performance optimization across application, data, and platform components.

Our professionals as part of the Supply Chain Network Operations (SCNO) service line within Enterprise Performance focus on helping organizations achieve sustainable competitive advantage throughout their operations, spanning product development, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. We excel at translating strategic objectives into tangible, measurable outcomes at the operational level. By aligning high-level goals with frontline execution, we ensure our clients realize real value and improved performance across every stage of their supply chain and operations.
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST, based on business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing secure, scalable architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including cloud, data, and networking services.
- Experience deploying generative artificial intelligence (AI), large language model (LLM), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent-based solutions in production environments.
- Experience designing AWS network architectures using Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Direct Connect, virtual private network (VPN), AWS PrivateLink, network access control lists (NACLs), and security groups.
- Experience implementing AWS security controls using Identity and Access Management (IAM), Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Secrets Manager, single sign-on (SSO), Amazon GuardDuty, AWS Security Hub, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Shield, and AWS WAF.
- Experience designing distributed or cloud-native architectures, including event-driven systems, batch or streaming patterns, hybrid cloud, multi-region deployments, application programming interfaces (APIs), and monitoring or logging integrations.
- Experience using Python, Node.js, Bash, or Java, and infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or Terraform.
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Technology, or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Preferred:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
