Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant with at least 1 year of experience to manage day-to-day accounting activities, invoices, payments, GST-related records, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase invoices, quotations, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain cash, bank, and expense records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance.
- Assist with GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
- Track customer payments and outstanding amounts.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and invoices.
- Prepare basic financial reports and MIS statements.
- Maintain proper documentation of all accounting records.
- Support management with accounting and financial information when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
- Any degree is acceptable.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and basic taxation.
- Experience with Tally / Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Candidates within approximately 5 km of Villivakkam are preferred.
Preferred
- Experience in a small or medium-sized business environment.
- Knowledge of payroll and statutory compliance.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
