Job Description: Procurement Domain Lead & Enterprise Architect - (Exp: 18+ Years)
The SAP MM/P2P Lead & Enterprise Solution Architect is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions across the SAP landscape, combining deep functional expertise with enterprise architecture oversight.
This role goes beyond solution design to lead cross-functional teams, shape domain strategy, and ensure business value realization through SAP platforms. You will act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership, owning the P2P domain roadmap while guiding architects, functional consultants, and technical teams toward scalable, integrated, and future-ready solutions.
You will balance hands-on expertise in SAP MM/P2P with team leadership, governance, and transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles, digital strategy, and evolving technologies such as SAP BTP, automation, and GenAI.
Required Skills & Experience:

18+ years of SAP experience, including ECC and S/4HANA implementations in large, complex environments
- Proven experience as a Domain Lead / Solution Architect / Enterprise Architect with team leadership responsibilities (3+ years)
- Deep functional expertise in SAP MM (P2P) with strong cross-module understanding (FICO, SD, PP, PM)
- Strong experience in end-to-end process design, business capability mapping, and value-driven transformation
- Hands-on exposure to SAP technical and platform capabilities:
- ABAP, BASIS, HANA
- PI/PO / Integration technologies
- Fiori / UI5
- SAP Analytics (SAC / Power BI)
- SAP BTP
- SAP Intelligent RPA / Automation
- SAP GRC
- Experience with Ariba or other procurement platforms and their integration with SAP
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and modeling tools
- Experience in S/4HANA transformation programs (Greenfield/Brownfield) and RISE with SAP
- Ability to lead complex production environments, including major incident resolution and stabilization
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and influence decisions
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Domain Leadership & Business Ownership

Own and drive the end-to-end P2P (MM) domain strategy, aligning with business priorities in procurement, supply chain, and finance
- Act as the primary interface for business stakeholders, translating strategic objectives into scalable SAP-enabled solutions
- Identify and drive process optimization, cost efficiency, and value realization opportunities across the P2P landscape
- Lead capability planning and business process standardization across regions and business units
Team Leadership & Delivery Oversight

Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary SAP team (functional, technical, and integration experts)
- Provide delivery oversight across projects and enhancements, ensuring quality, timelines, and business alignment
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture, driving accountability and continuous improvement
- Act as a point of escalation for complex functional or technical challenges
Solution Architecture & Technical Oversight

Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture for SAP MM/P2P within the broader enterprise landscape
- Ensure seamless integration across SAP modules (MM, FICO, SD, PP, PM) and external platforms (e.g., Ariba, Ivalua, third-party tools)
- Establish architecture standards, design principles, and integration patterns aligned with enterprise frameworks
- Provide hands-on guidance in solution design, configuration, and complex problem resolution
Transformation & Innovation

Lead SAP-driven digital transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, and cloud adoption
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (SAP BTP, Fiori/UI5, Intelligent Automation, GenAI) within the P2P domain
- Evaluate current systems and define modernization roadmaps and target architectures
- Ensure solutions are future-ready, scalable, and aligned with clean core principles
Governance, Risk & Operational Excellence

Establish and enforce technology governance, compliance, and best practices
- Oversee incident management and production support strategy for critical business processes
- Ensure robust documentation, testing, and training frameworks are in place
- Monitor system performance and proactively drive stability and continuous improvement initiatives
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

SAP Certified Professional – Enterprise Architect.
- TOGAF Certification (Foundation/Certified).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures.
- Exposure to GenAI use cases in procurement and SAP ecosystems.
- Project/Program management experience (PMP, Agile, or equivalent).
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
