Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimizing production processes to ensure maximum productivity, high product quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety standards. The role requires close coordination with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to achieve production objectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and optimize daily production activities to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production operations.
- Monitor production KPIs such as OEE, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and productivity, and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other process improvement methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production trials.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns.
- Train shop floor personnel on production processes, safety practices, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement.
- Knowledge of OEE, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and process optimization.
- Understanding of quality systems, inspection techniques, and manufacturing standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in production planning, process improvement, and shop floor operations.
- Exposure to ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Experience in handling cross-functional coordination and continuous improvement projects.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
