Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Operations / Project Service Automation Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations (formerly Project Service Automation) solutions. The consultant will be responsible for solution design, configuration, implementation, testing, and post-go-live support while ensuring seamless integration with Finance, HR, and Microsoft Power Platform components.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end solutions for Project Sales, Contracts, Resource Scheduling, Time & Expense Management, and Project Accounting.
- Configure and manage Work in Progress (WIP), Revenue Recognition, Project Budgeting, Billing, and Invoicing processes.
- Gather business requirements and conduct Fit-Gap Analysis to align business needs with system capabilities.
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), End-User Training, and Hypercare activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Project Operations with Finance, HR, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
- Configure workflows, business processes, and project lifecycle management within Dynamics 365.
- Provide functional expertise, troubleshoot issues, and recommend best practices throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Prepare functional documentation, solution design documents, and user guides.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations / Project Service Automation (PSA).

- Knowledge of integrations with:
- Dynamics 365 Finance
- HR solutions
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are preferred.
- Experience working on enterprise-level Dynamics 365 implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum implementation methodologies is an advantage.
