Job Summary
Renown Container Lines Pvt Ltd is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Export Customer Service Executive to manage export shipments from booking confirmation through container gate-in. The ideal candidate will have experience in NVOCC and freight forwarding operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with shipping lines, customers, transporters, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of export shipments.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers, shipping lines (liners), overseas agents, transporters, CFS/ICD operators, and internal departments to ensure smooth execution of export shipments.
- Handle customer inquiries, provide shipment solutions, and maintain regular communication regarding booking status, vessel schedules, cut-off dates, and shipment updates.
- Place export bookings with shipping lines and follow up for booking confirmations, equipment availability, and sailing schedules.
- Obtain and communicate freight rates, local charges, destination charges, and other applicable surcharges from shipping lines and overseas partners.
- Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO), Form 13, and coordinate related export documentation accurately and within timelines.
- Track shipments from booking stage until container gate-in at the port/terminal and proactively follow up on pending activities.
- Monitor vessel schedules and inform customers of any changes, delays, rollovers, or operational issues.
- Ensure timely coordination for container movement, cargo acceptance, and gate-in processes.
- Resolve customer concerns, operational discrepancies, and shipment-related issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, update internal systems, and prepare reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, shipping regulations, and customer requirements while maintaining high service standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and shipping line representatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Export Customer Service within an NVOCC, freight forwarding, or shipping company.
- Experience handling export bookings, customer coordination, shipping documentation, and shipment tracking.
- Familiarity with shipping line portals and logistics management systems will be an advantage.
Salary will be based on the interview.
