Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support a major ERP Transformation Programme.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working with SAP ECC data, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, profile, and assess data within SAP ECC, with a focus on:People/Employee data, Commercial data, Master and transactional data relevant to ERP migration activities
- Identify data quality issues and support remediation activities to ensure migration readiness.
- Create, maintain, and update: Data mapping documents, Data transformation specifications, Data validation and reconciliation documentation
- Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and quality assessments.
- Execute data reconciliation activities and investigate data discrepancies.
- Support data migration testing activities, including: Mock data loads, System integration testing, User acceptance testing (UAT), Post-migration validation and verification
- Work closely with business users, SMEs, and technical teams to gather and confirm data requirements and business rules.
- Document findings, recommendations, and data governance standards.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
Required Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Strong hands-on experience working with SAP ECC data.
- Proven experience in data analysis and data migration projects within ERP transformation programs.
- Knowledge of employee, people, and commercial data structures within SAP ECC.
- Experience with: Data profiling, Data mapping, Data transformation. Data validation and reconciliation, Data quality management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using SQL or similar data analysis and querying tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desirable
- Experience supporting ERP migration projects to modern ERP platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Experience with ETL, reporting, or data migration tools.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and migration lifecycle activities.
