This role will be responsible for driving the digital product roadmap, supporting business-as-usual platform operations, improving customer journeys, and ensuring our digital platforms continue to support commercial growth and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will work closely with commercial, technology, customer operations, sales, brand, and regional teams to deliver reliable, user-focused, and commercially effective digital solutions. This is a senior role requiring strong ecommerce experience, digital product ownership, stakeholder management, and proven team leadership.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and manage the B2B ecommerce and digital product roadmap, ensuring priorities are aligned to business needs, customer experience, technical feasibility, and commercial value.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, delivery plans, and support models.
- Manage backlog priorities, support delivery planning, oversee UAT, coordinate releases, and ensure successful post-launch support.
- Lead the delivery of platform improvements, new features, customer journey enhancements, and operational efficiencies across B2B digital selling tools.
- Oversee the day-to-day performance, stability, and usability of B2B ecommerce platforms, ensuring they support customer, sales, and business needs effectively.
- Work with technical teams and third-party partners to support complex ecommerce integrations across ERP, pricing, inventory, product data, customer data, order flows, fulfilment, and supply chain systems.
- Support key ecommerce capabilities including product detail pages, basket and checkout journeys, quick order, pricing, inventory, customer account features, shipping addresses, notifications, and customer-facing content.
- Manage BAU platform support alongside strategic change delivery, ensuring platform issues, data problems, operational blockers, and business-critical incidents are triaged and resolved effectively.
- Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause resolution through improved processes, documentation, training, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure business users are trained and supported so they can get the best value from the platform.
- Act as a key contact between commercial teams, customer operations, technology, brands, regions, sales teams, and external partners.
- Communicate priorities, progress, risks, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
- Build strong relationships across the business to ensure digital priorities are understood, aligned, and delivered effectively.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital product and ecommerce specialists, analysts, or business analysts.
- Manage team priorities, workload, performance, development plans, and knowledge sharing.
- Create a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
What you’ll bring:
- Minimum 10 years experience in ecommerce, digital product management, B2B digital platforms, digital transformation, trading operations, or business analysis.
- Proven experience leading or managing a team, including analysts, product owners, ecommerce executives, business analysts, or digital operations specialists.
- Strong experience working with B2B ecommerce platforms, customer portals, wholesale ordering platforms, or digital selling tools.
- Experience owning or contributing to a digital product roadmap, including prioritisation, requirement gathering, backlog management, delivery planning, UAT, release management, and post-launch support.
- Experience working with complex ecommerce integrations involving ERP, pricing, inventory, product data, customer data, order flows, fulfilment, or supply chain systems.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across commercial, technology, customer operations, sales, brand, and regional teams.
- Experience managing BAU platform support alongside strategic change delivery.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, legacy systems, business-critical issues, and changing commercial needs.
- Strong ecommerce and digital product ownership mindset.
- Excellent understanding of B2B customer journeys, wholesale ordering, sales enablement, digital adoption, and customer self-service.
- Ability to balance commercial goals, customer experience, operational needs, technical feasibility, and delivery capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and improve platform performance.
- Confidence working with technical teams and translating technical constraints into clear business language.
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritise effectively, and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Comfortable managing senior stakeholders and challenging priorities when required.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to move between strategic planning and hands-on issue resolution.
