About the Role
Niraamaya Retreats Surya Samudra is offering Housekeeping On-the-Job Training, giving students structured exposure to room and public area maintenance standards expected of a luxury wellness property.
Learning Areas & Responsibilities
- Assist in room cleaning, turndown service, and maintaining 5-star cleanliness standards
- Support linen and laundry management processes
- Learn public area and back-of-house maintenance protocols
- Understand inventory control for housekeeping supplies and amenities
- Support setup for wellness-program guest rooms with specific requirements (aromatherapy, Ayurveda-aligned amenities, etc.)
- Learn safety, hygiene, and guest privacy standards
Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or completed a diploma/degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality
- Basic coursework understanding of housekeeping operations
- Attention to detail and physical stamina for active work
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends
