We are looking for a talented 2D Character Animator proficient in Adobe Animate CC to join our part-time, remote team. You will be responsible for creating lively and engaging character animations for various storytelling projects, explainer videos, and animated series.
- Create high-quality 2D character animations using Adobe Animate CC.
- Work closely with scriptwriters, storyboard artists, and directors to bring stories to life.
- Animate characters, environments, and other assets based on storyboards and scripts.
- Apply principles of animation such as timing, spacing, and weight to create smooth and appealing motion.
- Incorporate feedback quickly and efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain consistent quality and style across all animation sequences.
- Proven experience as a 2D Character Animator with a strong portfolio.
- Expertise in Adobe Animate CC (formerly Flash Professional).
- Good understanding of animation principles (timing, squash and stretch, anticipation, etc.).
- Ability to interpret storyboards and create expressive animations.
- Knowledge of rigging characters and using symbols/libraries efficiently in Animate CC.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
- Strong creativity, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
