Job Summary:
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests using the pool and recreational water facilities. The role involves monitoring activities, preventing accidents, and responding quickly to emergencies in line with hotel standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming pool and surrounding areas to ensure guest safety at all times
- Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines to prevent accidents
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including performing water rescues and first aid/CPR when required
- Conduct routine checks of pool equipment, rescue gear, and safety signage
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in pool areas
- Keep accurate records of incidents, maintenance, and safety checks
- Educate guests on safe swimming practices when necessary
- Coordinate with hotel staff and emergency services in case of incidents
Requirements:
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or recreational facilities
- Strong swimming and rescue skills
- Good knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response
- Ability to stay alert and act quickly in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts
