Based at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), HAECO Hong Kong offer a full range of services including airframe services, line services, component services, engine services, freighter conversions, technical training and AOG support.
Responsible for supporting the development, review, implementation, and control of BM and LM procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and operational requirements. Maintain the Master Hazard Log and associated safety risk records, coordinate hazard identification and risk assessment activities, and monitor the implementation of safety actions and mitigation measures to support the effective operation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
Support safety performance monitoring through data collection, analysis, and reporting, and assist departments in addressing procedural and safety-related issues. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely review and maintenance of procedures, hazard records, and safety documentation, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across BM and LM operations.

Maintain an effective Hazard Log management process to ensure hazards, risks, and mitigation actions are properly identified, assessed, tracked, and reviewed.

Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) through hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety action monitoring activities.

Ensure BM and LM procedures are maintained, controlled, and updated to comply with regulatory, company, and operational requirements.

Support the effectiveness of procedure governance by coordinating document review, revision, and approval processes.

Monitor the status of safety recommendations, corrective actions, and risk mitigation measures to support risk reduction and operational safety.

Support safety performance monitoring and continuous improvement through the collection and analysis of safety-related data.

Maintain accurate and auditable records related to procedures, hazards, and safety actions

Functional and other Relevant Experience
-
Minimum 5 years’ aircraft maintenance experience, safety management, quality assurance, engineering support, procedure management, or related operational functions.

Experience in document control, procedure development, review, and revision management.
-
Experience in supporting Safety Management System (SMS) activities, including hazard identification, risk assessment, safety reporting, or corrective action tracking.

Familiar with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) principles and risk management processes.

Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting using operational or safety performance data.

Familiar with aviation regulatory and company requirements, including HKAR-145, MOE, SOP, SMS, and EPM framework.

Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders and managing actions across different departments.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint for data management, reporting, and document control.
2. Qualifications and other Relevant Knowledge

Degree holder in Engineering, Aviation Management, Safety Management, Quality Management, or related discipline;

Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Meet the Competency requirements per the department Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM).

Passed Project Management Essential (N.G345) or equivalent is an advantage.

Proficiency in using Microsoft O365 & Learning Management System (LMS) is an advantage.
