Job Overview:
Gateway International School is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to lead the school’s sports and fitness program. The ideal candidate should be passionate about promoting physical health, discipline, and teamwork among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct structured PE classes and ensure effective physical development for all students.
- Train students for inter-house, inter-school, district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment, playground safety, and inventory.
- Organize Sports Day, tournaments, fitness activities, and extracurricular sports events.
- Conduct regular school rounds to maintain discipline and student safety.
- Support the Principal by overseeing discipline-related matters during school hours.
- Address behavioural issues promptly and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Execute tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Principal from time to time.
- Prepare performance reports, maintain records, and encourage talent identification.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed).
- Prior school experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of multiple sports and coaching techniques.
- Excellent discipline management and leadership skills.
- Good communication, observation, and decision-making abilities.
- Energetic, responsible, and committed to student development.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
