Healing Hands Clinic is looking for a skilled and responsible Operation Theatre (OT) Technician to join our healthcare team at our Whitefield location.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the Operation Theatre before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, sterile supplies, and consumables are available and properly prepared.
- Assist doctors, surgeons, nurses, and the anaesthesia team during procedures.
- Check the proper functioning of OT equipment, including suction machines, monitors, cautery equipment, oxygen supply, and other necessary instruments.
- Maintain strict sterilization, aseptic techniques, and infection-control protocols.
- Assist with patient shifting, positioning, and preparation for procedures as required.
- Clean and disinfect the OT and equipment after every procedure.
- Coordinate with the concerned departments for sterilized instruments and required supplies.
- Monitor OT inventory and report shortages or equipment malfunctions to the concerned authority.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow clinic SOPs and safety protocols.
- Assist during emergency procedures whenever required.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) or a relevant qualification.
- Previous experience as an OT Technician will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization procedures, and infection-control practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
- Responsible, attentive to detail, and committed to patient safety.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Location: Healing Hands Clinic, Whitefield, Bengaluru.
