Key Responsibilities :
Product & feature delivery
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features across React frontend and Node.js/Python/Java backend services.
- Implement and improve flows for property listings, land search, lead capture, and internal dashboards.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party services (payments, communication, GIS, CRMs).
Architecture, security & quality
- Contribute to system architecture and database design for scalable, secure, and maintainable services.
- Ensure application and data security: input validation, secure auth/session handling, encryption, and least-privilege access patterns.
- Collaborate with leadership to align with security and compliance best practices.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code and drive code reviews, refactoring, and performance tuning.
Cloud, DevOps & reliability
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, and automated deployments using Docker and cloud-native services.
- Help configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical services and address production issues.
Collaboration & leadership
- Work closely with Product, Design, SEO, GIS, and Operations to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, give structured feedback, and lead engineering best practices across the team.
- Lead technical design reviews and break down epics into technical tasks and estimates.
- Proactively flag risks and dependencies to leadership.
Required Qualifications
Technical
- 5+ years building web applications as a full stack engineer (backend + frontend).
- Strong experience in at least one backend stack (Node.js/Express, Python/Django/FastAPI, or Java/Spring Boot) and REST API design.
- Solid frontend skills using React (preferred) or similar SPA framework with component-based architecture and state management.
- Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with at least one NoSQL store (MongoDB/Redis).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) including networking, managed databases, storage, and IAM.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker/containers, and monitoring/logging stacks.
- Familiarity with web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, secure cookies, HTTPS, secrets management).
Leadership (Required)
- Proven leadership experience – mentoring junior engineers, leading technical design reviews, and driving best practices across teams.
- Ability to break down epics into technical tasks and estimates, and proactively flag risks or dependencies.
Domain & nice-to-have
- Experience with proptech / marketplace / GIS / map-based UIs is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with QGIS or web-mapping libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox, Google Maps) is an advantage.
- Worked in startup or product-led environments, shipping frequently in Agile/Scrum teams.
Soft skills
- Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset; comfortable taking features from idea to production.
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders (SEO, ops, sales, management).
- Ability to mentor, review, and collaborate in a fast-moving, evolving product space.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
