Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Application Packaging Engineer with strong expertise in packaging, deploying and troubleshooting enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience creating reliable application packages and supporting software deployment across end-user environments.
Key Responsibilities
Create, modify and maintain application packages for enterprise deployment.
Package applications for Windows desktop environments.
Manage application installations, upgrades, patches and uninstallations.
Support application deployment through enterprise software distribution tools.
Test application packages and resolve installation or compatibility issues.
Troubleshoot packaging and deployment failures.
Ensure applications meet security and deployment standards.
Maintain packaging documentation and deployment procedures.
Collaborate with EUC, infrastructure, security and application teams.
Support application lifecycle management and production deployments.
Required Skills
5–8 years of experience in Application Packaging.
Strong hands-on experience in Windows application packaging.
Experience with tools such as AdminStudio, InstallShield, Advanced Installer or similar.
Strong knowledge of MSI, MST and application installation technologies.
Experience with software deployment and distribution tools such as SCCM/MECM or Intune.
Good understanding of Windows OS and registry.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Understanding of application security and deployment best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
