We are hiring an experienced VMware Specialist – L2 to manage and support enterprise virtualization infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in VMware technologies, server administration, virtualization support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management.
- Install, configure, and manage:
- VMware vSphere
- VMware ESXi
- vCenter Server
- Provision, deploy, migrate, and maintain Virtual Machines (VMs)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and infrastructure health
- Perform patching, upgrades, and firmware updates for VMware and server environments
- Manage virtualization networking, clustering, and storage configurations
- Troubleshoot VM, host, storage, and connectivity-related issues
- Support backup and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance standards
- Collaborate with network, storage, and application support teams
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- 3–7 years of VMware administration experience
- Strong expertise in:
- VMware vSphere
- ESXi
- vCenter Server
- Experience with Windows and/or Linux server administration
- Knowledge of:
- VLANs
- DNS/DHCP
- Firewalls
- SAN/NAS/iSCSI/NFS
- Experience with backup and monitoring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- VMware VCP Certification
- Exposure to:
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
