Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer (AWS)

Role Description
The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for supporting secure, scalable, and operationally stable cloud infrastructure environments across AWS and GCP platforms. The role focuses on cloud operations, infrastructure automation, vulnerability remediation, and DevOps engineering within enterprise environments.
The engineer will collaborate with cloud engineering, production support, and infrastructure automation teams to improve operational reliability, cloud security posture, and infrastructure standardization.
Cloud Environment & Platform Scope
- AWS (primary platform)
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
- Enterprise production, staging, and development cloud environments
- Multi-region cloud infrastructure deployments
- Regulated enterprise cloud environments
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate Kubernetes infrastructure and remediate cloud vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
- Support and develop secure cloud operations across AWS and GCP environments
- Perform root-cause analysis for infrastructure and operational issues
- Implement long-term remediation fixes instead of temporary solutions
- Collaborate with production services and cloud engineering teams
- Support cloud infrastructure automation initiatives
- Improve cloud operational reliability and security posture
- Participate in incident resolution and operational support activities
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Develop and maintain Terraform-based infrastructure deployments
- Support infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD and automation workflows
- Develop operational scripts using Python and cloud-native tooling
- Support standardization of secure cloud deployment practices
Security & Operations
- Support vulnerability remediation programs
- Work with tools such as Qualys and compliance monitoring platforms
- Remediate:
? Compute vulnerabilities
? Public access risks
? Storage and IAM security issues
? Infrastructure misconfigurations
- Participate in cloud security and governance initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices
- Understanding of cloud security principles and remediation processes
- Experience with Python scripting and automation
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills
- Experience working in enterprise production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to regulated or financial services environments
- Experience with vulnerability management platforms such as Qualys
- Familiarity with DevSecOps and cloud governance practices
- Experience supporting global operational teams
- Knowledge of cloud compliance and posture management tooling
