Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Project Manager (Civil Engineering) with 15 years of progressive experience delivering complex infrastructure, commercial, or residential developments.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the project lifecycle from pre-construction planning through handover. You will manage cross-functional site teams, oversee engineering contractors, enforce stringent QA/QC and HSE standards, and maintain total control over project schedules, budgets, and commercial deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Delivery Execution
- Define the overall execution strategy, baseline schedules, resource requirements, and work breakdown structures (WBS) using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Direct day-to-day on-site civil operations, coordinating subcontractors, labor forces, plant/machinery, and material deliveries to ensure adherence to milestones.
- Lead progress reviews and coordinate structural, architectural, and MEP integration to resolve design discrepancies early.
2. Cost, Contract & Commercial Management
- Maintain direct accountability for project P&L, tracking cash flow, variance analysis, and earned value metrics against budgeted cost.
- Administer construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, or bespoke EPC formats); review and negotiate subcontractor variations, claims, and monthly progress billings.
- Identify potential commercial and schedule risks proactively, formulating effective mitigation and acceleration strategies.
3. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) regimes, ensuring execution strictly matches structural specifications, local building codes, and client standards.
- Champion a zero-incident safety culture on site, auditing contractor compliance with local environmental, health, and safety (HSE/OSHA) regulations.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, liaise with local authorities and utility boards, and secure necessary occupancy, clearance, and completion permits.
4. Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, structural consultants, architects, local authorities, and executive leadership.
- Mentor and supervise site engineers, planning managers, surveyors, and quantity surveyors, fostering technical excellence and professional accountability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. / B.Tech / B.E.) in Civil Engineering from an accredited university. A Master’s degree in Construction Management or Structural Engineering is a plus.
- Experience: 10 to 15 years of proven civil engineering experience, with at least 4 to 6 years in a lead Project Manager capacity delivering medium-to-large-scale projects (e.g., high-rise, metro/rail, highways, bridges, or industrial developments).
- Technical Software: Proficient in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), CAD/BIM viewing platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks), and ERP suites (SAP, Procore, or Oracle Primavera Unifier).
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), Chartered Engineer (CEng / PE), or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) credential is strongly preferred.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
