Job Description – R&D Executive (Essential Oils)

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and innovative R&D Executive with experience in the Essential Oils, Aromatherapy, Natural Extracts, or Fragrance Industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing new products, improving existing formulations, conducting research, and supporting quality and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and develop new essential oil blends and aromatherapy formulations.
- Evaluate and test essential oils, carrier oils, hydrosols, and botanical extracts.
- Conduct product stability studies and maintain formulation records.
- Analyze raw materials and finished products to ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Production and QC teams for product development and scale-up activities.
- Prepare technical documents, specifications, COAs, and product-related reports.
- Stay updated with market trends, new ingredients, and regulatory requirements.
- Support customized product development based on client requirements.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and other applicable quality standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Essential Oils, Carrier Oils, Aromatherapy, and Natural Ingredients.
- Understanding of quality parameters and testing methods.
- Knowledge of GC-MS reports and analytical techniques will be an added advantage.
- Good research, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical report writing.
Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in the Essential Oils, Fragrance, Cosmetic, or Natural Products industry.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
